AboutEORA Energy

Powering Australia’s Renewable Energy Future

What We Believe

We believe the future of energy infrastructure in Australia will be defined by integration, not by any single technology. We therefore see our role as bringing together the right technologies, capital and expertise to deliver reliable power, improved energy efficiencies and commercially sustainable infrastructure.

Our approach is to optimise the energy system as a whole, rather than simply supply individual pieces of equipment. Intelligent energy-management systems can coordinate batteries, generation, solar and loads to improve efficiency and performance, while our project development and financing capabilities help turn technically viable opportunities into financeable infrastructure.

Additionally, we are developing modular microgrids and other solutions that can provide reliable power in remote and grid-constrained locations, as well as support the rapidly growing energy requirements of data centres across the country.

By owning the customer relationship and solution architecture while remaining technology-agnostic, we can deliver integrated solutions that evolve with our customers and the changing energy environment.

Importantly, our name is drawn from the Indigenous word “EORA” meaning “here” or “from this place”. This reflects our deep commitment to Australian country, communities and the long-term stewardship of the land and we acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we operate.

What We Do

EORA designs and delivers integrated energy systems that combine generation, storage, renewable energy and intelligent controls. Depending on the project, this can include advanced lithium or semi-solid-state battery systems, vanadium flow batteries, high-efficiency generation, solar PV, fuel-cell technology and energy-management systems.

These technologies can operate together to optimise energy supply and demand, reduce generator run-hours and fuel consumption, manage peak demand and improve the resilience of the overall energy system.

We take projects from concept through to delivery and operation and have developed EPC capabilities covering engineering, electrical installation, commissioning and maintenance, while also offering project-finance and Energy-as-a-Service models that can remove or reduce the upfront capital barrier for customers.

Who We Serve

EORA works with organisations where reliable, resilient and cost-effective energy is critical to their operations. Our primary markets include mining and remote operations, mining accommodation, data centres, distribution networks, hydro generation, remote and Indigenous communities and commercial and industrial energy users.

We focus particularly on environments where grid capacity is constrained, conventional energy supply is costly or unreliable, or new infrastructure needs to be deployed quickly.

For mining and remote operations, we can integrate solar, battery storage, efficient generation and intelligent controls to reduce dependence on diesel and optimise the way energy is generated and consumed.

For data centres and other high-energy users, we can develop behind-the-meter solutions combining generation, storage, renewable energy, controls, EPC and financing.

For distribution networks and hydro assets, our battery solutions can provide additional capacity, optimise generation and create new opportunities to improve the commercial performance of existing infrastructure.

We also see significant potential to support remote and Indigenous communities through modular microgrids that combine renewable generation, battery storage, generation and intelligent energy management.

Across all of our markets, our focus is the same: helping customers access reliable energy infrastructure without having to solve the technology, integration and financing challenges themselves.

By combining these capabilities, we aim to make energy infrastructure more accessible, more efficient and faster to deploy, while creating solutions that can deliver lasting operational and commercial value.
