A Name Grounded in Country
EORA Energy takes its name from Eora, meaning "here" or "from this place" in the language of the Aboriginal peoples of the Sydney region. This name reflects our belief that energy solutions should be grounded in place, respectful of Country, and designed with long-term stewardship in mind.
EORA Energy acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which it operates and pays respect to Elders past and present.
